Family Roofing Sales Consultant Job Description:

As a Multi-Family Roofing Sales Consultant at Southern, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating lasting customer relationships.

Your main focus will be on personalized customer engagement, with a significant emphasis on lead generation and developing a robust client portfolio.

You will also be responsible for negotiating pricing and overseeing project execution. This position offers a base salary of $45,000 plus uncapped commissions.

  • Actively generate leads and establish client connections.
  • Engage with the community through associations, hospitality groups, trade shows, and meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with potential clients, providing tailored solutions to their needs.
  • Interact directly with customers to address issues, questions, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Conduct comprehensive roof inspections and offer expert recommendations.
  • Manage project lifecycles from cost estimation to successful completion.
  • Efficiently coordinate schedules and resources to achieve project objectives.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this position is:

  • Self-motivated with a passion for outdoor sales.
  • Possesses 1-2 years of roofing experience, preferably in multi-family and commercial sectors.
  • Has extensive knowledge of the roofing industry and inspection processes.
  • Familiar with various roofing systems, including shingles, tile, TPO, and coatings.
  • Able and willing to set up a ladder and climb onto roofs.
  • Reliable, diligent, and highly organized with strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrates sound business practices and judgment.

Seeking a full-time, flexible position that offers opportunities for personal and professional growth. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Requirements: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for daily use in this role.

Basic math and computer skills are necessary.

Willingness to undergo and pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

1-2 years of roofing sales experience is preferred.
