The Technical Trainer is responsible for conducting product installation training for sales representatives and customers at various locations, distribution centers, and customer sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to Westlake's safety policies and procedures.
- Technical Support: Provide assistance to the sales team with technical queries and offer support in person or via phone for sales representatives and customers.
- Roofing Expertise: Possess experience in roofing and be able to train sales representatives on new products.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for sales representatives on new product launches and ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge to effectively sell these products.
- Quality Assurance: Test new products for fitness for use and provide feedback to the relevant teams.
- Third-Party Testing: Support third-party testing as required.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain designated training facilities to ensure they are well-equipped and organized.
- Travel and Training: Travel to customer locations to administer training, provide support, and assist with technical troubleshooting.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate closely with sales and management to ensure adequate training and assess training needs.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as requested or assigned by management.
- Computer Literacy: Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
