Position Overview:

As a key member of our legal team at Forrest Solutions, the Legal Administrative Assistant will undertake a range of administrative and secretarial responsibilities to support our attorneys effectively.

Work Environment:

This role is based in a hybrid setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring collaborative engagement with the team.

Compensation:

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate litigation processes by overseeing case management, drafting legal documents, and executing court filings at both state and federal levels.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of estate planning documents, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive client information.
  • Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, aid in onboarding new clients, and maintain organized client files and documentation.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare filings, and liaise with courts and agencies under the guidance of attorneys, while managing extensive client interactions.
  • Oversee scheduling, including managing calendars, arranging meetings, and tracking financial expenditures related to cases.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Prior experience in Trust & Estates is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Maryland, DC, and Virginia court systems, including e-filing procedures.
