Job Overview

Contemporaries, a leading government contracting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Professional III to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our executives and staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calendar Management: Manage multiple professional and shared calendars, scheduling meetings, deliveries, and events with precision and attention to detail.
  • Office Operations: Work with external vendors to maintain office services, including maintenance, custodial efforts, and office management.
  • Inventory Management: Organize, track, and re-supply office inventory, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
  • Meeting Coordination: Coordinate meetings, establish meeting rooms, provide meeting supplies, and send out invitations.
  • Administrative Support: Participate in meetings by recording meeting minutes or notes, set up audiovisuals, and arrange seating.
  • Data Management: Manage databases and data entry tasks, as well as managing physical files.
  • HR Support: Assist with timekeeping and other HR-related tasks.
  • Travel Arrangements: Assist with travel arrangements and itineraries.
  • Communication: Manage verbal and written communication, including managing documents, reports, letters, and memoranda.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Manage shipping and receiving of packages.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of administrative support experience.
  • Minimum of a High School diploma, but a college degree is preferred.
  • Experience working for the federal government as a federal employee or contract employee is preferred.
  • Experience multi-tasking, especially when it comes to managing calendars.
  • Experience managing documents and files, both electronic and physical.
  • Property management experience.
  • Events and meeting management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in the English language.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Team-oriented personality.
