Position Title: Residential Task Force Manager

Overview: This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of hotel facilities to meet established objectives for revenue and profitability while ensuring high standards for guest and employee satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset management. The position entails providing leadership, training, guidance, and support to hotel personnel, ensuring a premium quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Management:

  • Deliver comprehensive market analysis of competitor pricing across various segments for weekdays and weekends, alongside forecasts of local market trends and events that could influence occupancy and pricing.
  • Assist in sales initiatives as directed by upper management and corporate sales teams.
  • Educate front desk personnel on effective sales techniques and current promotional offers.

Financial Oversight:

  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process by predicting shifts in operational costs and labor expenses.
  • Utilize business forecasts to regulate costs by aligning labor schedules with staffing guidelines, managing other expenses according to business demand, and controlling utility costs in line with energy management protocols.
  • Adjust controllable expenses based on projected monthly revenue to uphold profit margins and meet budgetary goals; analyze budget variances and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding procurement processes.

Guest Experience Management:

  • Train staff to execute guest service protocols in alignment with company standards, including greeting procedures and room assignments.
  • Equip staff to manage all aspects of guest service and effectively address complaints from dissatisfied guests, personally resolving complex issues.
  • Respond to guest feedback through various channels in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Achieve satisfactory scores on guest satisfaction surveys and implement strategies to rectify any identified deficiencies.

Employee Engagement:

  • Recruit, select, train, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional guest services and quality products, contributing to revenue and profit objectives.
  • Administer human resources policies and procedures effectively, ensuring fair treatment and competitive compensation for employees.
  • Develop potential management candidates through structured training programs.
  • Exemplify professional conduct in all business dealings, adhering to company policies, ethical standards, and conflict of interest guidelines.
  • Achieve satisfactory results on employee satisfaction surveys and take necessary actions to address any shortcomings.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure a positive guest experience while safeguarding the company's physical assets by maintaining hotel facilities in line with established quality standards.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and immediate repair programs as per company protocols.
  • Achieve satisfactory ratings for product quality as assessed by guest feedback and implement corrective actions as needed.

Work Schedule: This position requires a commitment of 45-50 hours per week with extensive travel obligations.
