Paul Davis Restoration of Central Connecticut is looking for a dedicated Accounting and Administrative Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping processes, from initial data entry to the preparation of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable by recording invoices and ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
- Prepare A/P reports and oversee cash disbursements.
- Handle accounts receivable, including posting receipts and reconciling transactions.
- Perform reconciliations for member ledgers and the general ledger.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and month-end entries.
- Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for properties and owners.
- Collect payroll data and coordinate reporting with third-party payroll processors.
- Issue 1099 forms and prepare 1096 submissions.
- Provide office administration support, including answering phone lines and assisting with A/R collections.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in full-charge bookkeeping functions.
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug testing is required.
- This position is based in a small office environment, with a commitment of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
