Position Summary:
As a Product Owner within UnitedHealth Group's financial services division, you will play a crucial role in developing user-friendly and efficient financial service experiences. Your work will integrate customer-centric design principles with industry best practices to support both consumers and healthcare providers.
In a time of transformation within the healthcare sector, your contributions will be vital in creating financial service solutions that enable consumers and providers to focus on care delivery while effectively managing their financial health.
This role will require collaboration across various levels and will leverage your extensive expertise in financial services and product management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define product features and requirements, applying agile product management principles to develop straightforward and intuitive financial offerings that address complex healthcare financial needs.
- Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including treasury, finance, credit, underwriters, engineering, and other business partners throughout the product lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
- Provide insights to partners and stakeholders regarding project planning, including impact assessments, prioritization, and solution development.
- Gather requirements, prioritize features, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and oversee the delivery of product functionalities and roadmaps.
- Anticipate customer needs and proactively devise solutions to meet those needs.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product ownership, with a strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
- At least 3 years of experience in application systems analysis and/or programming, with proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- 3+ years of experience with financial services products, applications, and banking systems.
- Experience with SDLC tools such as Aha, Jira, and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with web/portal projects, including wireframe creation.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is competitive and based on various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group adheres to all applicable minimum wage laws.
In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility requirements.
