Position Title:

Senior Financial Analyst / Controller

Reports To:

CFO

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential; a Master's degree is highly regarded.

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis is required, or a valid Certified Public Accountant certificate with a minimum of three years in a similar role.

Experience with general ledger and monthly closing processes is preferred.

Familiarity with sales, revenue, and customer analysis is advantageous.

Experience in expense analysis is a plus.

Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms is desirable.

Experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Advanced skills in MS Excel are necessary.

Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.

Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds.

KEY COMPETENCIES

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. A proactive individual with a track record of enhancing financial processes and internal controls. Experience with accounting and ERP systems is essential. Familiarity with the implementation of such systems is an advantage. Capability to manage transactional functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and billing is beneficial. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibility includes collaborating with the CFO to support all aspects of Finance and Accounting within the organization.

Accountable for maintaining and enhancing financial and internal control processes, with a strong focus on analytical controls.

Assisting the CFO in the analysis and reporting of monthly financial results.

Supporting the CFO in accurate business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Engaging directly with Senior Management across various departments to facilitate goal-oriented reporting and analysis.

Comprehending and analyzing intricate business, customer, product development, and supply chain processes to drive improvements and achieve organizational objectives.

Developing a thorough understanding of the products manufactured by the company.

Gaining insight into the supply chain necessary for product production.

Understanding the medical conditions faced by customers and how the products contribute to patient care.

Evaluating complex financial accounting workflows, systems, and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with accounting standards.

Assessing the internal controls and security of automated accounting applications to ensure adherence to auditing standards.

Performing additional duties as assigned.
