Position Overview: The Financial Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of our finance and accounting functions. This position supports the Controller in managing financial reporting and accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, treasury management, cash flow, taxation, and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Manage audits and address accounting issues in accordance with GAAP.
  • Conduct transaction verifications and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Supervise credit card transactions and expense reimbursements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury operations.
  • Oversee credit management and handle delinquent accounts.
  • Lead and mentor finance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Analyze financial data to support organizational objectives and drive process improvements.
  • Evaluate internal controls for compliance and risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Approximately 7+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in financial processes and mathematics.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level accounting systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and lead teams effectively.
  • Experience in public accounting is preferred.

Work Environment: This position primarily involves office work, utilizing a computer and telephone. Candidates should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and handling confidential information with discretion.
