Position Overview

As a Project Management Controls Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning and execution of projects that align with our clients' goals. Join our esteemed program management team to deliver innovative project solutions that drive success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist program teams in the development, management, and monitoring of project schedules, ensuring timely updates and adherence to deadlines.
  • Create comprehensive progress reports and maintain integrated key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project health.
  • Oversee the development and management of project-specific budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Collaborate with construction contractors and client representatives to gather and integrate the latest scheduling information into project timelines.
  • Support and document change management processes for adjustments in project scope, schedule, or budget.
  • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including management, clients, contractors, and consultants regarding all project control activities.
  • Implement project control processes to evaluate project performance, including change control and reporting mechanisms.
  • Monitor project progress concerning scope, timelines, and costs, providing solutions for any deviations that arise.
  • Document and communicate variance analyses in accordance with established change control procedures.
  • Utilize performance measurement techniques to assess past performance, identify trends, and forecast future outcomes.
  • Adhere to project reporting protocols and execute reporting cycles effectively.
  • Leverage a centralized repository for project data and dashboard reporting.
  • Participate in change control and project controls meetings as required.
  • Assist program teams in the implementation of Program Management Information Systems and best practices in project controls.
  • Support the maintenance of business processes and tools that sustain project control functions throughout the program lifecycle.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Strong understanding of project control principles and the ability to convey ideas clearly.
  • Proactive in identifying technical issues and initiating corrective measures.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage time effectively to meet project budgets and schedules.
  • Collaborative team player with a capacity for creative and critical thinking.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, with experience in managing cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to shifting priorities.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining resource-loaded project schedules for complex capital construction initiatives.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
