Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Project Controls Analyst to contribute to large-scale commercial construction initiatives. This role involves supporting and implementing various strategic and operational efforts within our clients' mixed-use district development portfolios and new workplace office projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing cost data and generate benchmark insights.
- Provide weekly updates to clients.
- Engage in cost negotiations with contractors.
- Align actual costs with contract terms.
- Contribute to value engineering discussions.
- Assist Program Leaders in managing program-level data.
- Ensure compliance with client governance policies.
- Manage document control processes.
- Oversee adherence to QA/QC standards.
- Conduct thorough research, data collection, and benchmarking against historical data.
- Perform in-depth analysis of live data to identify trends and key performance indicators.
- Monitor project performance metrics and track action plans.
- Prepare written communication materials, including charts and presentations.
- Support the creation of program-level reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to guide data management practices.
- Respond to various data and reporting requests.
- Track cost review and estimate requests submitted by clients.
- Prepare necessary documentation as required by the team.
- At least 3 years of post-graduate experience in the construction industry with a solid understanding of cost engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in data management and detailed analysis.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite applications.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for construction and financial data.
- Ability to foster positive working relationships with project teams.
- Experience with client-specific systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
The salary range for this full-time position is $90K-$120K annually. This range reflects the base salary only and does not encompass the total compensation package.
