Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Project Controls Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on large-scale commercial construction initiatives, providing essential support for strategic and operational efforts within our client's diverse development portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing cost data and generate benchmark insights.
  • Deliver weekly updates to clients.
  • Engage in cost negotiations with contractors.
  • Align actual costs with contractual agreements.
  • Contribute to value engineering discussions.
  • Assist Program Leaders in managing program-level data.
  • Ensure compliance with client governance standards.
  • Oversee document control processes.
  • Guarantee adherence to QA/QC protocols.
  • Conduct thorough research and data analysis, benchmarking against historical data.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of live data to identify trends and key performance indicators.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and track action plans.
  • Prepare written communications, including charts and presentations.
  • Support the creation of program-level reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with clients and project managers on data management guidance.
  • Respond to ad hoc data and reporting requests.
  • Track cost review and estimate requests from clients.
  • Prepare necessary documentation as required by the team.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a solid understanding of cost engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data management and detailed analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite applications.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships with project teams.
  • Experience with client-specific systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
  • Passion for construction and a strong affinity for numbers.
  • Robust analytical skills and proficiency in spreadsheet applications.
