Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Project Controls Analyst to join our team, specializing in large-scale commercial construction initiatives. This role involves supporting and executing a variety of strategic and operational efforts within our client's mixed-use development portfolio, as well as new workplace office projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing cost data and generate benchmark insights.
  • Provide weekly updates and reports to clients.
  • Engage in cost negotiations with contractors.
  • Reconcile actual expenses with contractual agreements.
  • Contribute to value engineering discussions.
  • Assist Program Leaders in managing program-level data.
  • Ensure compliance with client governance policies.
  • Maintain document control processes.
  • Oversee adherence to QA/QC standards.
  • Conduct thorough research and data collection for benchmarking.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of live data to identify trends and key performance indicators.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and track action plans.
  • Prepare written communication materials, including charts and presentations.
  • Support the creation of program-level reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with clients and project managers on data management strategies.
  • Respond to ad hoc data and reporting requests.
  • Track cost review and estimate requests submitted by clients.
  • Prepare necessary documentation as required by the team.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in the construction industry, with a solid understanding of cost engineering roles. Additionally, at least 2 years of experience in data management and in-depth analysis is required. A college degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite applications, advanced skills in spreadsheets, charts, and presentations, along with excellent communication abilities are crucial. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong analytical skills, and the capability to foster effective working relationships within project teams.

Additional Information:

The salary range for this full-time position is between $90K and $120K annually, reflecting the role's requirements and the candidate's qualifications. Please note that this range pertains to base salary only and does not encompass the total compensation package.
