Position Overview:
The Patient Services Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients visiting our facility. This position involves managing patient information and providing essential support to both patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate demographic and insurance details in both electronic systems and patient charts.
- Execute office opening tasks, including petty cash management and collection of co-pays and co-insurance.
- Primarily assist patients in the lobby while providing backup support for phone inquiries and other front office duties.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with clinic protocols and procedures.
- Proficient in various computer systems and software.
- Understanding of medical terminology.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated compassion and kindness towards patients, both in person and over the phone.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude at all times.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent customer service abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with medical personnel, management, and external agencies.

Work Environment:
This role requires a combination of sitting and standing typical of a busy office atmosphere with frequent patient interaction. The responsibilities outlined are intended to provide a general overview of the position; actual duties may evolve as organizational needs change.
