Job Summary:

The Patient Care Coordinator is a vital member of our front office team at OnPoint Medical Group. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, either in person or over the phone.
  • Complete pre-visit planning, including verifying patient information and updating records.
  • Register new patients and verify existing patient information.
  • Collect co-pays and payments as needed.
  • Answer inbound calls to schedule patients and serve as a liaison to clinical staff for patient inquiries.
  • Perform administrative duties to ensure patient visits run smoothly and billing is processed in a timely manner.
  • Make outbound calls to schedule appointments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Attend to punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
