Your Role and Responsibilities:
Provide essential clerical and administrative support within a medical practice, including but not limited to reception duties, telephone management, medical record handling, charge entry, referrals, and the retrieval of medical information from various internal and external systems. Additionally, facilitate communication and collaboration with both the healthcare team and patients/families to identify and address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients. Demonstrate accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
The Value You Bring to the Team:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, making adjustments as necessary.
- Welcome patients and caregivers, providing assistance that reflects our commitment to high-quality service and teamwork.
- Follow up with patients who have missed appointments.
- Maintain patient charts and records with confidentiality, including the management of scanned documents.
Qualifications:
Essential Expertise and Experience:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Previous roles demonstrating basic office and computer skills, including filing, telephone answering, and familiarity with software such as Microsoft Word, Email, Excel, etc.
