Alaska Regional Hospital seeks a seasoned financial leader to join our team as an Assistant Chief Financial Officer.

About the Role

This critical leadership position plays a vital role in driving financial excellence and ensuring effective financial management across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to support clinical and operational decision-making.
  • Leverage expertise in capital asset management to optimize financial returns.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of HIM and Case Management/Care Coordination functions to inform financial planning.
  • Establish productivity, staffing, and scheduling strategies to maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain expertise in hospital accounting, internal control environment, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrate exceptional executive presence to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years finance/accounting experience or public accounting/audit experience required.
  • Experience as a hospital Controller or previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • CPA certification preferred.

A competitive salary and bonus structure will be provided based on experience and qualifications. Estimated salary range: $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
