Job Overview
We're currently seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Sullivan's Steakhouse. This role offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist the Executive Chef in organizing, training, and managing kitchen staff. They will also prepare data for budget planning, project annual food, labor, and other costs, and monitor actual financial results to ensure financial goals are met. Additionally, they will create unique dishes and menu items for daily features and specialty events, taking into account dietary restrictions and palate preferences.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in an upscale casual dining or fine dining environment. Strong broiler skills are required, and experience in a steakhouse is a plus.
