- Build Commercial Relationships: Establish and maintain comprehensive commercial relationships with high-impact strategic partners to drive ongoing revenues for Expedia Group's B2B business.
- Qualify Opportunities: Apply data-driven commercial acumen to qualify opportunities fully, avoiding over-utilization of support team resources until opportunities are comprehensively qualified.
- Onboard New Partners: Adhere to business processes to successfully onboard new partners, staying updated on product and commercial support materials, and negotiating contract terms.
- Lead Virtual Teams: Proactively lead virtual teams and organize resources until new partners are fully onboarded, coordinating with account management to transition partners and continue to support partnership success.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a passion for continuous self-improvement and learning, sharing knowledge with the team to continue raising the bar, and effectively collaborate across teams to influence product and process enhancements.
- Develop Potential Solutions: Develop potential product solutions and commercial tactics based on partner needs and conduct broad analysis to determine the viability of various alternatives.
- Financial Impact: Demonstrate understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions to drive projects and analyses that support the organization's mission.
- Contract Negotiations: Partner with legal resources to explain difficult concepts or unique situations that require potential deviation from standard contract terms, develop and negotiate appropriate contract terms, and lead complex contract negotiations.
- 8+ Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
- Proven Sales/Influence Skills: Proven sales/influence skills, balanced with consultative needs analysis/solutioning, financial competence, and technical sales experience.
- Travel Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive travel industry knowledge, particularly related to loyalty programs and travel inventory distribution.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience with travel technologies and demonstrated strength in communication, presentation, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
- Operational Skills: Proven ability to operate independently, achieve financial targets, define objectives and structure, advocate for partners when appropriate, seek input when needed, and make sound business decisions.
- Relationship Building: Ability to effectively build relationships internally and externally, particularly with decision-makers, and flexibility to travel up to 30% of the time.
