Lead Financial Accountant

Position Overview

As a Lead Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating Comprehensive Financial Statements: Prepare detailed financial reports, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conducting Account Reconciliations: Ensure accuracy by performing thorough account reconciliations and identifying any discrepancies.
  • Managing the General Ledger: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by accurately recording transactions, making necessary adjustments, and reconciling accounts.
  • Supporting Audit Processes: Assist in audit preparations by providing essential documentation and clarifications to auditors.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Additional Accounting Duties: Undertake other accounting responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with inter-company transactions and month-end closing procedures.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
