Senior Implementation Consultant

Marcum LLP, a leading accounting and advisory services firm, is seeking a seasoned Senior Implementation Consultant to join our FP&A Solutions team.

As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and executing the implementation of Vena software for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, design solutions within the Vena platform, and ensure a successful transition to the new system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of Vena Solutions for clients, from initial scoping to final delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Analyze client business processes and requirements to effectively integrate Vena into their budgeting and reporting process, leveraging your expertise in financial planning and analysis.
  • Configure and customize the Vena platform to meet the specific needs of each client, utilizing your knowledge of financial software solutions.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation process, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for clients, ensuring sustainable use of the system.
  • Stay up-to-date with Vena software updates and enhancements, offering the latest solutions to clients and driving business growth.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in implementing financial software solutions, with a strong track record of success.
  • Hands-on experience with Vena Solutions, with a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
  • Experience with Excel and financial modeling, with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and systems, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with the ability to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong academic record.

Preferred qualifications include certifications related to Vena Solutions and experience in a consulting or client-facing role, with a proven track record of success in a similar position.
