Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and record entries in the general ledger.
- Conduct timely analysis of month-end journal entries, including prepaid expenses, depreciation, and accruals for accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Coordinate and compile sales tax reports across various states.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to financial statement analysis.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform monthly account analysis.
- Engage with staff and management to address and resolve accounting-related issues.
- Collaborate closely with fellow accounting team members to achieve departmental objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Experience in the non-profit sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
