Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
  • Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries assigned to accounts within the ERP system.
  • Generate accurate and timely account reconciliations along with journal entries for the financial systems.
  • Verify the correctness of balances, figures, calculations, and postings, and address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all deliverables, especially for month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare daily cash flow reports and forecasts.
  • Identify errors and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and implement internal controls independently.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial budgets, forecasts, and tax audits.
  • Provide backup support for functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, and payroll.
  • Uphold all standards of integrity and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and practices in both manual and automated environments.
  • Strong work ethic with high enthusiasm, personal energy, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

This position is fully on-site and offers a competitive salary based on experience.
