Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Product Marketing to join our team. As a key member of our marketing function, you will be responsible for crafting compelling messaging and positioning for our products, ensuring alignment with market needs and driving successful go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Market Fit Analysis: Conduct a detailed analysis of our products' market fit, identifying areas of competitive advantage and opportunities for growth.
  2. Market Intelligence: Develop and maintain comprehensive market intelligence efforts to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  3. Product Messaging and Positioning: Create and refine product messaging and positioning to effectively communicate our products' value propositions to target audiences.
  4. Collaboration and Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including product, GTM, sales, and demand generation, to drive business objectives and achieve successful product launches.
  5. Portfolio Product Marketing: Develop and execute portfolio product marketing strategies, integrating product launches and sustaining product motions.
  6. Customer Segmentation: Develop customer segmentation strategies based on market trends and competitive landscape, defining competitive advantage or right to win.
  7. Product Opportunity Quantification: Use customer and market insights to quantify product opportunities and inform business decisions.
  8. Launch Planning and Execution: Partner with the GTM team to design and execute launches across all tiers, from new product introductions to customer retention upgrades.
  9. GTM Asset Development: Review and refine critical GTM assets, including product sheets, event content, pitch decks, and other marketing materials.
  10. Performance Data Analysis: Analyze performance data, best practices, and trends to inform adjustments to GTM assets and optimize engagement and impact.
  11. Strategic Partnerships: Partner with sales strategy on themes and plays in the market, and collaborate with the demand gen team on campaign strategy and messaging.
  12. Communication and Presentation: Present at company-led customer events, internal events, and industry conferences/panels.

Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of experience in product marketing.
  2. Proven experience in product marketing, with a track record of driving successful product launches and customer adoption.
  3. Experience working in a marketing function that serves healthcare, life sciences, or health tech industries.
  4. Prior experience developing product messaging and positioning aligned with market needs that resonates with target audiences.
  5. Effective leadership and communication skills.
  6. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Experience in portfolio product marketing and working with demand generation, GTM, and sales teams.

Location and Compensation

This is a remote US-based position. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $170,000, based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and licensure or certifications obtained.
