Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Director of Product Marketing to join our team. As a key member of our marketing function, you will be responsible for crafting compelling messaging and positioning for our products, ensuring alignment with market needs and driving successful go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Market Fit Analysis: Conduct a detailed analysis of our products' market fit, identifying areas of competitive advantage and opportunities for growth.
- Market Intelligence: Develop and maintain comprehensive market intelligence efforts to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Product Messaging and Positioning: Create and refine product messaging and positioning to effectively communicate our products' value propositions to target audiences.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including product, GTM, sales, and demand generation, to drive business objectives and achieve successful product launches.
- Portfolio Product Marketing: Develop and execute portfolio product marketing strategies, integrating product launches and sustaining product motions.
- Customer Segmentation: Develop customer segmentation strategies based on market trends and competitive landscape, defining competitive advantage or right to win.
- Product Opportunity Quantification: Use customer and market insights to quantify product opportunities and inform business decisions.
- Launch Planning and Execution: Partner with the GTM team to design and execute launches across all tiers, from new product introductions to customer retention upgrades.
- GTM Asset Development: Review and refine critical GTM assets, including product sheets, event content, pitch decks, and other marketing materials.
- Performance Data Analysis: Analyze performance data, best practices, and trends to inform adjustments to GTM assets and optimize engagement and impact.
- Strategic Partnerships: Partner with sales strategy on themes and plays in the market, and collaborate with the demand gen team on campaign strategy and messaging.
- Communication and Presentation: Present at company-led customer events, internal events, and industry conferences/panels.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing.
- Proven experience in product marketing, with a track record of driving successful product launches and customer adoption.
- Experience working in a marketing function that serves healthcare, life sciences, or health tech industries.
- Prior experience developing product messaging and positioning aligned with market needs that resonates with target audiences.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in portfolio product marketing and working with demand generation, GTM, and sales teams.
Location and Compensation
This is a remote US-based position. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $170,000, based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and licensure or certifications obtained.
