Role Overview: As the Lead Sales Strategist for North America, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing innovative sales initiatives aimed at achieving revenue goals and enhancing market presence for our advanced medical technologies. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will oversee a team of sales experts, nurture essential client relationships, and collaborate across departments to drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with corporate objectives to penetrate and expand within the North American market.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, offering support, training, and motivation to meet both individual and team targets.
- Market Development: Discover new business prospects and market niches, spearheading initiatives to broaden our footprint and boost sales performance.
- Client Relations: Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare institutions, providers, and distributors, ensuring exceptional levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Analysis: Evaluate sales metrics and performance indicators, utilizing data to refine strategies and foster continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, product innovation, and customer service teams to synchronize efforts and leverage market opportunities.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Generate precise sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior leadership, delivering insights into market dynamics and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
- Demonstrated success in medical device sales, with a minimum of 8 years in a senior sales management capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of the North American healthcare sector, including regulatory frameworks, reimbursement processes, and competitive environment.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing high-achieving sales teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the proficiency to interpret sales data and market research to inform strategic choices.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer-centric business development.
- Willingness to travel extensively within North America as necessary.
