Position Overview
The Email Marketing Senior Strategist will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing email marketing initiatives for HSMAI. This position involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of email communications, including process management, performance tracking, and analytics reporting, with a strong emphasis on educational content and industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies aimed at enhancing event participation and fostering industry relationships.
- Design and produce all email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional content, and automated workflows.
- Create compelling email content, including engaging subject lines, persuasive copy, and effective calls-to-action that align with our brand voice.
- Segment email lists based on user preferences and behaviors to ensure targeted messaging.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine email content and optimize engagement and conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports with actionable insights.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule communications for maximum impact.
- Identify opportunities for revenue-generating email marketing initiatives.
Data Management and Analytics
- Oversee data collection processes to ensure high-quality data for marketing efforts.
- Utilize email systems and databases to enhance user engagement and facilitate progress through the customer lifecycle.
- Maintain organized marketing databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Analyze data to identify trends and measure campaign effectiveness.
Compliance and Privacy
- Evaluate and update privacy policies in accordance with current regulations and best practices.
- Develop strategies to manage opt-outs and email preferences while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
General Responsibilities
- Assist in budget preparation and management related to email marketing initiatives.
- Stay current with email marketing trends and best practices through professional development.
- Ensure all email communications adhere to brand guidelines and maintain high visual standards.
- Foster effective relationships with team members and external partners to successfully execute marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing.
- Proficient in email marketing platforms and analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation and automation.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical Demands
This role may require occasional standing, walking, and lifting of office supplies up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule. Occasional travel may be required.
