Business Development Director

ENSCO is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to lead our efforts in securing complex contracts across a broad range of advanced technology areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Space and Intel Market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Space and Intel Market
- Lead the identification, pursuit, and capture of opportunities, focusing on high-value contracts with Federal agencies
- Develop winning strategies and proposals that align with the objectives of these agencies
- Provide leadership and vision in areas such as Systems Engineering and Integration, cyber exploitation and defense, and defense, research & development, experimentation, evaluation, analysis, Satellite Command & Control, and Launch Range Safety
- Drive the development of innovative solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and industry partners
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and drive the growth of the company's defense portfolio
- Lead the development of high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals that address the requirements and evaluation criteria of targeted RFPs
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and gather intelligence on upcoming procurements, trends, and shifts in government priorities
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent years of experience in related market
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Space/Intel Market, and/or business development role focused on Federal Government procurements
- Demonstrated success in winning and/or managing high-value contracts
- Solid understanding of the applicable technologies and methodologies, specifically in Space related domains
- Strong business development skills with a proven track record in building relationships with Federal agencies and winning new business
- Ability to navigate complex government procurement processes
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad audience and to craft compelling proposals
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, teammates, and employees
