Job Description

ENSCO is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to lead our efforts in securing complex contracts across a broad range of advanced technology areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Space and Intel Market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Space and Intel Market
  • Lead the identification, pursuit, and capture of opportunities, focusing on high-value contracts with Federal agencies
  • Develop winning strategies and proposals that align with the objectives of these agencies
  • Provide leadership and vision in areas such as Systems Engineering and Integration, cyber exploitation and defense, and defense, research & development, experimentation, evaluation, analysis, Satellite Command & Control, and Launch Range Safety
  • Drive the development of innovative solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and industry partners
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and drive the growth of the company's defense portfolio
  • Lead the development of high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals that address the requirements and evaluation criteria of targeted RFPs
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and gather intelligence on upcoming procurements, trends, and shifts in government priorities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent years of experience in related market
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Space/Intel Market, and/or business development role focused on Federal Government procurements
  • Demonstrated success in winning and/or managing high-value contracts
  • Solid understanding of the applicable technologies and methodologies, specifically in Space related domains
  • Strong business development skills with a proven track record in building relationships with Federal agencies and winning new business
  • Ability to navigate complex government procurement processes
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad audience and to craft compelling proposals
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, teammates, and employees
