Job Overview

Position Summary: As a vital member of the MIKID organization, the Receptionist will contribute significantly to the daily operations of our office. MIKID is a leading nonprofit in Arizona, focused on enhancing the lives of children and families through dedicated support and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls with professionalism, ensuring messages are accurately taken and directed to the relevant personnel.
  • Welcome visitors warmly and maintain a secure and organized reception area.
  • Oversee the management of office supplies and ensure the smooth operation of office equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of outgoing and incoming mail.
  • Maintain logs and conduct audits for MIKID equipment issued to staff, collaborating with Human Resources for equipment returns.
  • Support special projects and events, including the preparation of promotional materials.
  • Coordinate meetings and conference calls, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Handle financial tasks such as petty cash reconciliation and manage alarm codes.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a High School diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of two years of experience in an office setting supporting multiple staff members. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook) is required, as well as excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with behavioral health agency protocols is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and respond promptly to inquiries. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
