Position Overview

As an **Administrative Assistant** at MIKID, you will be instrumental in facilitating daily office operations under the supervision of the Family Support Manager. Your role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring a smooth workflow and providing exceptional support to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls in a timely manner, take messages, and route calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Professionally greet visitors and manage their inquiries.
  • Maintain an organized reception area and ensure the office is secure at the end of the day.
  • Oversee office supplies inventory, prepare outgoing mail, and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Manage office equipment, coordinate repairs, and ensure all tools are in working order.
  • Track and log MIKID equipment assigned to staff, conduct audits, and assist with the return of equipment during employee separations.
  • Support special events and projects, including printing promotional materials and scheduling meetings.
  • Handle petty cash reconciliation, manage alarm codes, and oversee the employee identification badge process.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a **High School diploma** or equivalent, along with a minimum of **two years of experience** in an office setting supporting multiple staff members. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is proficiency in the **Microsoft Office Suite** (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook). Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are critical for success in this position. Familiarity with behavioral health agency policies is advantageous, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
