Key Responsibilities:
Address and document customer inquiries via telephone, resolving issues in line with company protocols
Act as a communication bridge between healthcare providers, insurance plans, and internal staff
Analyze provider and insurance contracts to deliver precise information during calls
Organize and manage workload to ensure prompt issue resolution
Engage in telephonic surveys while adhering to departmental standards
Essential Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Must be at least 18 years old
Minimum of 1 year experience in a Medicare and HMO setting
At least 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare environment
Typing proficiency of 40-50 words per minute
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of administrative experience in scheduling or training within a healthcare context
1+ years of experience in authorization/referral processing
1+ years of experience in claims processing or claims customer service
Familiarity with standard billing practices
Ability to interpret provider and insurance contracts
