Financial Grants Administrator

Position Overview
The Financial Grants Administrator will play a crucial role at NCOA during a period of significant growth. This position is responsible for the financial oversight and management of all federal and private restricted grants.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and revise grant budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funder requirements.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, analyzing expenses and formulating projections.
- Collaborate with the CFO and Controller to establish policies and systems for effective grant management.
- Oversee the complete life cycle of grants, including monitoring budgets and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
- Prepare and manage grant budgets, including requests for amendments as necessary.
- Review financial transactions related to grant awards for consistency and reasonableness.
- Generate data visualizations to aid in project management and resource allocation.
- Monitor compliance of subcontracted agencies with policies and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- A minimum of five years of experience in managing grants and nonprofit finances.
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit fund and federal grant accounting.
- Experience in preparing financial reports and conducting variance analysis.
- Ability to interpret financial information and apply relevant policies.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (preferably Deltek Costpoint).
