Job Summary:

This position is responsible to assist the Budget, Planning, and Analysis Office in the College with the financial activities such as financial analysis, budgets, financial reports, data reports, monitoring accounts and other business management services.

Essential Duties:

  • Produces accounting reports and conduct financial analyses.
  • Prepares various financial reports including monthly summary reports, salary rosters and budget analyses.
  • Makes recommendations regarding balances.
  • Assists departments with cost center problems and provides assistance and grant support to departments within the College.
  • Develops forecasts regarding expenses, identifies risks and opportunities.
  • Assists with budget preparation in EPM, mentors and assists departmental staff in the process, & monitors College and departmental budgets on ongoing basis
  • Assist College Business Officer with generating and analyzing reports & backing up the HR Coordinator with various duties
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in finance or accounting with experience in planning, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous higher education experience and proficiency with PeopleSoft & Microsoft Office Suite products.
