Opportunity Overview:

The proposal process is essential in the realm of government consulting. As a proposal specialist, your contributions significantly influence the organization's success in securing contracts. We are seeking a proposal professional with expertise in contract management, communication, and strategic planning to enhance our proposal development process, where your impact will be prominently recognized.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership of the Aerospace Account, Market Delivery Teams, Aerospace Capture Team, and your Aerospace Sales colleagues. Your proficiency in managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), developing winning strategies, designing proposal value, and overseeing management plans will be crucial in leading the creation, review, approval, and submission of Account Priority Bids. You will also oversee the development and evaluation of proposal content, including technical management, staffing, costs, and past performance.

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in delivering compliant, professionally crafted Federal Government proposals within defined timelines.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force acquisition processes.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading teams.
  • Experience in Opportunity Capture.
  • Ability to mentor effective proposal content generation.
  • Skill in developing compelling win arguments.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at senior levels.
  • Critical thinking capabilities applicable to diverse challenges.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
