The Environmental Proposal Management Specialist at Sundance Consultants, LLC is responsible for spearheading the proposal development process and orchestrating marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Environmental Proposal Management Specialist encompass:

Proposal Development

  • Engage in pre-positioning efforts, including strategic planning, competitor analysis, and client mapping, collaborating with senior leadership and technical teams.
  • Document insights and action items during business development meetings.
  • Provide guidance for complex proposal pursuits, from initial strategy to final presentation.
  • Facilitate pre-RFP meetings to prepare for upcoming solicitations.
  • Lead proposal strategy sessions, including Go/No-Go decisions and project kick-offs.
  • Oversee proposal meetings for released solicitations.
  • Develop and refine Proposal Templates to ensure strategic responses that highlight Sundance's unique strengths.
  • Analyze RFQ/Ps and evaluate submission requirements for various contract types.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and technical staff to create compelling visuals and strategic messaging for submissions.
  • Assist technical staff in enhancing their narratives and presentations.
  • Coach team members on effective content development and presentation techniques.
  • Conduct client debriefs to integrate feedback into future proposals.
  • Build trust and collaborate effectively with technical professionals at all levels.
  • Work with proposal teams to generate original content for proposals, including cover letters and executive summaries.
  • Lead color review meetings to gather constructive feedback and ensure timely revisions.
  • Proofread and edit submissions for compliance with requirements and brand standards.
  • Coordinate writing and graphic support services to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain the Opportunity Pipeline to reflect pursuit status updates.

Marketing Initiatives

  • Design and create branding materials for both print and digital platforms.
  • Manage diverse marketing initiatives to enhance brand engagement and visibility.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Monitor opportunities for potential partnerships and upselling.
  • Contribute to the Opportunity Pipeline with insights on new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with IT to update and maintain the company website.
  • Develop and distribute the Sundance Marketing Style Guide.
  • Proofread and edit all branding materials.
  • Coordinate joint marketing efforts with partner firms.
  • Create high-quality capability statements and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Design engaging graphics and strategic messaging.
  • Manage brand content distribution across social media, optimizing posts for each platform.
  • Oversee content production that drives traffic to the Sundance website.
  • Craft timely and engaging posts for LinkedIn.
  • Proofread and edit all media content.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications may include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in brand management or marketing within the environmental sector.
  • Experience with federal agencies and understanding of their proposal requirements.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in persuasive writing and presentation development.
  • Proven track record as a proposal manager, overseeing all aspects of proposal development.
  • Ability to produce high-quality materials under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong writing, editing, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications may include:

  • A passion for branding and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 Compliance.
  • Professional certifications such as APMP, Shipley, or PMP.
