Job Description

Job Summary:

Prometheus Federal Services is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Growth Team, you will play a critical role in the development of 100% compliant, compelling, and winning proposals for Federal government pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Development: Lead, manage, and support the proposal development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and federal procurement regulations (FAR).
  • Proposal Writing: Manage and/or write technical proposal sections, RFI responses, white papers, resumes, past performance citations, or other proposal narratives in response to solicitations.
  • RFP Analysis: Interpret RFP requirements for compliance mapping, develop proposal templates, outlines, compliance matrices, resource assignments, and related checklists.
  • Proposal Production: Edit and format documents, manage proposal document production, and ensure submissions are accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Business Development: Support the Growth Team in broader business development activities, including managing day-to-day contract vehicle Project Management Office (PMO) activities, partner management, database management, survey development, research, and developing and maintaining templates, tools, and processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the development of government proposals.
  • Skills: Ability to structure and draft content for technical responses to RFIs and RFPs, knowledge of RFP life cycle management and federal procurement regulations (FAR), proven organization and facilitation abilities, very strong verbal and written skills, and excellent people skills.
