Position Overview:

The proposal process serves as the foundation of government consulting. As a proposal professional, your expertise is crucial to the organization's success in securing contracts. We are seeking a proposal specialist to leverage your contract management, communication, and strategic planning skills within our proposal development framework, where your contributions will be highly visible.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership of the Aerospace Account, the Market Delivery Teams, the Aerospace Capture Team, and your Aerospace Sales colleagues. Your responsibilities will include managing the Requests for Proposals (RFP) process, developing compelling solutions and win strategies, designing proposal value, and overseeing the creation, review, approval, and submission of Account Priority Bids. You will also guide the development and assessment of proposal content, which encompasses technical management, staffing, cost analysis, and showcasing past performance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Over 8 years of experience in delivering compliant, professionally crafted Federal Government proposals within client-defined timelines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force acquisitions, as well as Federal Government procurement.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
  • Experience in Opportunity Capture.
  • Capability to mentor on effective proposal content generation.
  • Skill in developing persuasive win arguments.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at senior levels.
  • Critical thinking abilities applicable to diverse challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

Compensation Overview:

The projected salary range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 annually, reflecting the typical compensation for this role.
