We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Sales Representative to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our fresh and food service products to existing and new customers in a defined sales territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel daily to customers and potential customers to reinforce Core-Mark sales activity by promoting products, concepts, and sales initiatives.
  • Assist and coordinate operator training, merchandising, sanitation, pricing, shrink, and gross profit ability.
  • Respond to customer inquiries to resolve problems and provide solutions.
  • Schedule and coordinate customer training sessions and product demonstrations.
  • Advise customers on merchandising ideas to improve sales opportunities.
  • Assist customers in building food pricing structures and menu development while monitoring shrink and gross profitability.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Core-Mark food service products and food cost analysis.
  • Knowledge of menu development.
  • Skill in operating various food preparation equipment and computer software.
  • Skill in communicating effectively and negotiating with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to be organized and coordinate multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
