Description
We are in search of a motivated individual with a strong ambition to succeed. Do you possess experience in external sales, a technical background, and a commitment to fostering enduring business partnerships?
We are looking for a Regional Sales Executive who excels in a competitive environment.
This role will focus on driving sales by establishing and nurturing new connections within the pool sector, delivering compelling sales presentations to targeted clients, expanding market presence within both new and existing accounts, and providing comprehensive support, including ensuring customer satisfaction and conducting product demonstrations for builders, contractors, and OEMs.
The designated territory encompasses various regions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual will serve as the primary field representative responsible for generating new and sustaining business within the new construction sector.
The execution of promotional strategies, conducting distributor tabletop events, and identifying key accounts will be the core responsibilities of this position.
Additionally, you will:
Engage with and promote Zodiac products, programs, and services to national accounts, pool builders, retail clients, OEMs, sales managers, sales representatives, plumbers, and electricians.
Maintain an up-to-date database of Zodiac customers.
Submit required documentation promptly (expense reports, monthly summaries).
SALES OBJECTIVES
Promote programs and services in a professional manner to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
Generate sales demand to drive Zodiac products through distribution channels.
Represent the Zodiac Sales Department for specific or unique accounts.
Collaborate with management to keep them informed about any developments that may impact the territory.
Provide literature upon request via fax or mail.
Complete necessary forms for literature and special deliveries sent through the Shipping or Marketing department.
Consistently increase sales.
Compile lists of potential customers in the database for use as sales leads, utilizing information from business directories and other sources.
Travel throughout the assigned territory to engage with regular and prospective clients to solicit orders or communicate with customers on the sales floor or via phone.
Quote pricing and credit terms and prepare sales agreements for orders obtained from distribution and national accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in external sales and/or training. Experience in the pool industry is advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present information clearly.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Capability to build and maintain strong relationships with key personnel in target customer organizations.
Ability to collaborate across functions while balancing customer needs with corporate objectives for revenue and profitability.
Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, Google email and scheduling, and CRM tools.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
EDUCATION
A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent technical product experience is preferred.
