Job Overview

Position: Regional Sales Manager - West Coast

We are seeking a driven and results-focused Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in value-based technical sales, particularly within the construction, engineering, and concrete industries. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of expanding emerging markets and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee both direct and indirect account management across the US West Coast.
  • Build relationships within the construction sector to enhance awareness of fiber reinforced concrete applications.
  • Manage the existing value chain while developing new connections with engineers, owners, general contractors, and concrete suppliers.

Core Duties:

  • Continuously grow market share by managing the existing value chain.
  • Collaborate with engineers and owners to develop product specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals to potential clients.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the region.
  • Facilitate regional business growth with an entrepreneurial approach to enhance revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee daily management of established regional accounts.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide forecasts and performance reports for the territory.
  • Recommend innovative product solutions to drive business growth.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers in coordination with the Area Sales Manager.
  • Implement regional Commercial and Digital Marketing strategies aligned with growth objectives.
  • Ensure superior customer service in collaboration with the marketing operations team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Sales, or Marketing preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in outside sales or engineering roles.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.
  • Strong negotiation skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Understanding of general building processes and product specification development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • Effective decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, forecasting, and marketing techniques.
  • A desire for personal and professional growth within the organization.
