Job Overview

MarketSource is actively seeking a Regional Sales Leader to enhance our team.

The Regional Sales Leader will play a pivotal role in overseeing client expectations across the district, ensuring the effectiveness of Client Programs and maintaining high levels of client and customer satisfaction. This position demands exceptional client service capabilities, along with the skills to recruit, train, and manage talent while fostering the growth and development of team members. Strong performance management and coaching abilities are essential for the ongoing development of retail Sales Representatives. The Regional Sales Leader will be responsible for supervising both full-time and part-time retail sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Development:
  • Conduct training and coaching sessions for MarketSource retail sales representatives within retail environments to effectively sell and demonstrate Wireless products, accessories, and services to customers.
Focus Areas:
  • Ensure exceptional guest service is delivered in alignment with market criteria.
  • Uphold the integrity and ethical standards of MarketSource representatives.
  • Master and implement MarketSource's consultative selling framework.
  • Consistently offer products and services to clients based on a needs-based selling strategy.
  • Maintain product and kiosk cleanliness to the highest standards.
  • Achieve all shrink goals.
Relationship Management:
  • Develop and sustain critical relationships with retail partners, including Store Managers and department leads.
  • Foster strong connections with all vendors, ensuring comprehensive product knowledge and promotional activities.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration with field teams and Regional Leadership.
Leadership and Management:
  • Enhance sales productivity and guest experience through performance management and one-on-one coaching.
  • Drive employee satisfaction through proactive engagement strategies.
  • Recruit and hire high-quality candidates for both full-time and part-time Sales Representative roles.
  • Manage attrition by monitoring key performance indicators.
  • Achieve sales objectives through effective district performance management.
  • Collaborate with Support Team Members to oversee all aspects of in-store execution, including scheduling and compliance.
  • Communicate and implement project launches and initiatives.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings with retail partners.
  • Provide regular performance reports to sales leadership.
  • Engage in required sales training and provide feedback on kiosk performance.
  • Oversee the distribution and retention of team resources.
  • Identify trends and opportunities through observational visits and team interviews, synthesizing insights into strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in training, sales, account management, or related fields, with a minimum of 2 years in retail management.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the wireless industry is preferred.
  • Willingness to work weekends and travel as needed.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to motivate and drive sales representatives to meet client expectations.
  • A four-year college degree is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, and move items.
  • Capability to navigate the store and handle merchandise as necessary.
  • Walking and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to assist customers throughout the store.
  • Proficient in identifying and interpreting reports.
  • Ability to recognize, identify, and utilize products effectively.
