Job Title: Business Account Executive

This is a virtual role that requires a highly motivated and experienced Business Account Executive to commercially represent GIVLAARI and OXLUMO in the United States. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the lives of AHP patients, who suffer from rare and life-threatening diseases.

The Business Account Executive will be responsible for driving physician and patient identification, disease awareness, and overall market development within their assigned territory. They will achieve territory targets and business objectives through account and customer strategies, while partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage regional business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, with experience in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Neurology, Hematology/Oncology, and other relevant fields. They will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex individualized cases in a compliant manner.

The Business Account Executive will report to the Regional Business Director and will be required to travel overnight, including to Boston and other large geographical territories. A valid driver's license is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive patient identification through HCP-driven strategies, including market development and brand awareness.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage time, activities, and resources to optimize access to academic and community HCPs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with HCPs and office staff, maximizing their time through planning and leveraging insights.
  • Proactively build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, adapting communication based on different stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across commercial departments to ensure access at the site of care and logistics for medication administration.
  • Execute speaker programs, local sponsorships, displays, and exhibits across multiple account types, including academic institutions, physician offices, and infusion centers.
  • Routinely report territory-level market dynamics and trends, including prescriber opinion and competitive activity, to the RBD.
