Job Title: Business Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced Business Account Executive to join our team at Alnylam. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in our assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to drive business growth and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and physicians to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment across commercial, compliance, and market access teams.
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive patient identification and market development.
  • Provide regular market updates and insights to management and escalate as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Science degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive business experience in biotech or specialty pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in Cardiology.
  • Understanding of biotech/pharmaceutical industry and relevant legal and regulatory environment.
  • Successful track record in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Ability to drive, lead, and deliver upon territory-level cross-functional business planning and influencing without authority.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 60% of the time.
