Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying emerging trends and customer needs, and developing and executing strategic plans to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence and drive revenue growth
  • Identify and approach potential clients, including food manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability
  • Stay informed about the latest developments, innovations, and regulatory changes in the natural food ingredients sector
  • Provide clients with expert advice on product applications, benefits, and differentiation
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on business goals and client needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the natural food ingredients industry or a closely related field
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and competitive landscape in the natural food sector
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other business tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
