About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and/or cold food items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a range of menu items, including hot and cold dishes, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and cooking ranges, to measure and mix ingredients.
  • Taste and quality-check products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Select and prepare recipes for menu cycles, including bakery items.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
