Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Behind The Scenes Catering & Events. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in all aspects of food preparation, kitchen management, and event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menus for large-scale events, including food inventories, receiving and verifying deliveries, and checking product quality standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations and staff, ensuring that food handling standards are maintained and that food and supply orders are properly placed.
  • Direct and supervise operations and training personnel, including kitchen staff and event coordinators.
  • Participate in client tastings and support event execution as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in luxury events management and cuisine positions.
  • Experience in large-scale events, such as Olympic games, World Cup, and championships.
  • Experience in recognized restaurants by Michelin Guide or similar.
  • Training in Good Practice, Food Safety, or similar.
  • Availability to travel worldwide, bimonthly.
