Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Pastry Chef to enhance our esteemed culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting exquisite pastries and gateaux for our renowned French boulangerie, Chou Chou.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the pastry kitchen during the absence of the Sous Chefs.
  • Prepare and present a variety of pastries and gateaux for Chou Chou boulangerie.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental and hotel policies by all team members.
  • Implement stock rotation and minimize waste through effective control procedures.
  • Maintain rigorous food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Prepare menu items according to established recipes, ensuring high-quality food production.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and related areas.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar position within a large hotel environment is preferred.
  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery and Patisseries is essential.
  • A genuine passion for culinary arts and customer service.
  • A strong desire to grow and develop within a luxury five-star setting.
