Event Sales Director

About the Role:

The Event Sales Director is a key member of the Invited team, responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of events and functions at our private clubs. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join a dynamic and growing organization and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Sell all event functions, including corporate events, social gatherings, weddings, and other segments, by meeting with clients to understand their requirements and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Network both within and outside the club to acquire leads and build relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director to create profitable and competitive event menus that meet client needs.
  • Work closely with the Membership Department to promote additional private events, business opportunities, and potential members.
  • Ensure that all sales activities are aligned with company standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven outbound sales experience with a strong sales track record (ideally 2 – 3 years).
  • Experience in catering/events sales within relevant markets is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of prospecting programs and generating event revenue.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High energy and outgoing personality.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and Banquet Event Order software.
  • Team player capable of building relationships with members, employees, and community leaders.
  • Undergraduate degree is advantageous.
