About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director of Venue Operations to join our team at Legends. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our venue, ensuring that all aspects of hospitality and event management are executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the venue operations team, ensuring that all aspects of hospitality and event management are executed to the highest standards.
  • Financial Management: Manage the operational budget, monthly P&L statements, and ensure all financial reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Guest Experience: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience, including food, service, and communications.
  • Team Management: Lead a cohesive management team, including developing talent, promoting from within, coaching, and performance management.
  • Contract Management: Ensure that all contracts with vendors and sub-contractors are executed and managed in accordance with Legends' policies and procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the venue is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA, payroll, employment, and EEO guidelines.
  • Event Production: Work closely with event production teams to ensure that all events are executed to the highest standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports and analysis to senior management, including financial performance, guest satisfaction, and operational metrics.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in venue operations, hospitality, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in leadership and management roles.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as POS systems.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including event production, marketing, and sales.
