Job Overview

As a Capital Projects Engineer, you will spearhead comprehensive capital expenditure initiatives, site expansions, and equipment relocations.

Your Role

Project Leadership:

  • Directs extensive operational projects and intricate capital expenditure initiatives.
  • Inspires and guides project teams to meet established goals, ensuring adherence to responsibilities and timelines.
  • Maintains project schedules and budgetary constraints effectively.
  • Facilitates clear communication with stakeholders and engages in collaborative discussions.
  • Oversees, monitors, and resolves issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical deliverables.
  • Provides comprehensive status updates on project milestones, deliverables, risks, and challenges.
  • Creates and presents progress reports, proposals, and documentation to diverse audiences, including project teams and key stakeholders.
  • Ensures projects align with defined scope, timelines, budgetary limits, and quality benchmarks.
  • Utilizes established project management methodologies and practices.
  • Manages change requests effectively.
  • Ensures accuracy in financial forecasts related to projects.
  • Collaborates with the company's Management Project Manager.

Engineering and Technology Oversight:

  • Assesses requests for machinery acquisition and installation.
  • Analyzes and illustrates the interconnections between technology, operations, and business requirements.
  • Defines technical specifications for machinery and auxiliary equipment.
  • Monitors compliance with specifications, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
  • Stays informed about emerging technologies and best practices, advising management on technology-related inquiries.
  • Prepares estimates and project plans for manufacturing-related endeavors.
  • Coordinates engineering and construction activities efficiently.
  • Makes informed engineering decisions throughout project execution.
  • Provides data-driven insights for management decisions through estimates, layouts, and project plans.
  • Ensures effective communication among engineers, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Evaluates requirements and formulates machine specifications.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
