We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for providing technical guidance on engineering tasks for various projects, including EPC and Design-Build ventures with demanding timelines. The successful candidate will assist clients in refining project strategies, enhancing project efficiency through innovative engineering solutions, and managing supply chain complexities. Projects may vary from quick-turnaround initiatives to significant undertakings valued at up to $100 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engineering solutions that align with client technology needs and ensure practical, cost-effective designs.
  • Guarantee safety throughout project execution and operational phases.
  • Lead and coordinate engineering activities in collaboration with Project Management and Field Management teams.
  • Set project goals and performance metrics in accordance with operational policies.
  • Contribute to proposal development and assess project requirements, actively participating in the proposal process to identify essential equipment and technical solutions.
  • Engage with clients, conduct site evaluations, and collaborate with vendors to determine the best solutions for new projects.
  • Assist in the selection of engineering firms based on their qualifications, experience, and cost considerations.
  • Ensure compliance with contract specifications and protect company interests.
  • Participate in the development of project schedules and budgets, ensuring precision and timely updates.
  • Support procurement for EPC projects by liaising with engineers and vendors to maintain timelines and address critical path issues.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, and team members.
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and fulfill assigned responsibilities to drive success.
  • Engage in professional development and leadership training to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness.
  • Promote client satisfaction and its significance for the company's reputation and future opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at utilizing technology for effective communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, multitask, and respond efficiently.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree in electrical engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience; 5-8 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • EIT or PE certifications are preferred.
  • Familiarity with single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of various engineering studies, including lightning protection, grounding, arc flash, and relay settings.
  • Experience in multi-discipline project coordination and energy projects, particularly in renewable energy, is highly beneficial.
